Instead of drawing a Halloween crossover like last year, I decided to draw several My Hero Academia characters from Class 1-A dressed up as different Anime characters! It was a lot of fun to decide on who the characters would dress up as, but also difficult since there were a lot of options I could've chosen.
If you're curious, these are the reasonings for each character:
‣ Deku/Midoriya as Gintoki (Gintama) because they're both the MCs and have curly hair.
‣ Bakugo as Vegeta (Dragon Ball) because of their role as a secondary protagonist and personality.
‣ Todoroki as Gen (Dr. Stone) because I finally watched the series a few months ago and loved Gen as a character and wanted to draw something related to him for a while now. I then decided that this would be an easy costume for Todoroki to dress up as if he were to choose because they already have a similar hair design.
‣ Tsuyu as Orochimaru (Naruto) because of their tongues, and I thought that Naruto would be a good classic Anime to be featured in this drawing.
‣ Uraraka as Yor (Spy x Family) because they're both important characters in their series, and their hairstyles are similar. I intentionally left out the rose headband that Yor wears because I didn't want the characters I placed in the back to be too distracting and take away from Deku, Bakugo and Todoroki in the front.
‣ Jiro as Crona (Soul Eater) because they both have introverted personalities, and I included Ragnarok because Crona's outfit on its own might not be obvious enough to represent the character.
‣ Kaminari as Zenitsu (Demon Slayer) because their quirks/breathing techniques are similar since lightning creates thunder and is also a discharge of electricity.
‣ Kirishima as Hairo (The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.) because they both have "manly" personalities amongst their classmates, and their hairstyles are similar.
