My Translate function cannot use the INSERT feature in Word 2019, please help me fix it

I understand that you’re experiencing issues with the Translate function’s Insert feature in Word 2019. Let’s troubleshoot this together!

Allow me to ask:

1. Can I ask for a screenshot of your concern?
2. What error message are you getting?
3. Is this happening to other devices, files, networks, browsers, and Office applications?
4. Is the file shared by someone else? or originally created by you?
5. Can I know what are you trying to Insert is it an image? video? link?
6. What version and edition of Office do you have installed in your device? Example: Personal/Family/Enterprise?
   • You can open any Office apps
   • Go to File > Accounts - on the right side you can see Product Information
7. Can I know what is your device's Operating system? is it Windows 10/11? or Mac?

Here are some steps you can try to resolve the problem:

1. Remove Add-ins:
   • Go to File > Options > Add-ins.
   • Next to “Manage,” choose COM Add-ins.
   • Untick all the add-ins listed there.
2. Reinstall Office:
   • Try to uninstall/reinstall the Office.
     1. Go to Start menu > Settings > Apps > Installed Apps.
     2. Locate your Microsoft Office and click Modify
     3. Click Uninstall and follow the instructions for uninstalling Office.
     4. Restart your device.
   • To reinstall Office in your device:
     1. Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services/ sign in with your account.
     2. Click the Install button - this should download your Officesetup.exe to your device.
     3. Run the Officesetup.exe
     4. Follow the steps for installing Office in your device.
3. Check for Updates:
   • Ensure that your Office 365 installation is up to date.
   • Go to File > Account > Update Options > Update Now to check for any available updates.
4. Trust Center Settings:
   • Navigate to File > Options > Trust Center.
   • Click on Trust Center Settings.
5. Create a New Document:
   • Open a new blank Word document and paste in the text you want to translate.
   • Check if the Insert feature works properly in this new document.
